· Participate in agile activities such as backlog grooming, feature prioritization and sprint planning

· Define and ensure user acceptance and testing criteria is captured and followed throughout the QA lifecycle

· Work closely with support, operations, and sales to understand existing friction points

· Create exciting release notes for internal teams and end users

· Build and maintain user personas, journey maps and product roadmaps

· Maintain internal training tools, user guides and knowledge base articles

· Communicate effectively with all internal teams and external entities teams to set accurate expectations and proper timelines for product delivery

· Align with engineering to understand technical implementation complexities and challenges of complex mobile applications

· Collaborate with design, marketing, and development to create an exceptional experience for our users

· Create and own all aspects of product roadmap for one or more of our industry-changing products:

o Market requirements and fit

o All requirements in the form of Epics, Features, and Stories

o MVP definition, phased development planning, and backlog management

o Launch strategy, schedule, and communications

o Sales and marketing interface and training

· Continually improve user experiences to control and manage devices such as locks, thermostats, lights, shades, water metering, energy metering, & leak detection

· Innovate constantly on existing and cutting-edge technology to build new solutions

· Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards

· Ability to multitask with a sense of organization and punctuality

· Becoming an expert on the industry and competitive landscape

· Assist with tasks as needed


· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Passion for new technologies and emerging trends

· Self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively

· Demonstrated ability to frame complex analytical problems, pull data, and extract insights that led to tangible business results

· Strong analytical background with web analytics tools and A/B testing

· High technical aptitude with the ability to understand system architecture and meaningfully contribute to building a robust tech stack (ability to understand the tech stack conceptually, its strengths and limitations)

· The ability to easily engage in both business-focused and technically focused conversations

· Demonstrated history of creative thinking


· Knowledge and experience with Smart Home products

· Experiencing building a B2B technology product


· Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical degree

· 3-5 years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst and/or Product Management capacity

· Expertise in researching, defining, and documenting complex business processes

· Experience defining a product roadmap and prioritizing features based on end user needs

· Familiarity with JIRA & Confluence

· Experience building mobile apps for consumers

· Demonstrated success launching excellent products
